Welcome to the Adorable English website. Adorable English videos are original songs designed especially to teach young English Language Learners (ELL). As an experienced teacher, I know that children remember new words more easily if they can sing them in a song. However, I have found that many of the videos already available on sites like Youku and YouTube had various shortcomings. Some of them were too difficult for English Language Learners. Others did not contain useful vocabulary that could be used in everyday conversations. Most disappointing was that very few featured Asian children that my students could relate to.
Since I couldn’t find the songs and videos I needed, I decided to create my own. I believe they will bring as much joy to you and your students as they have to me and mine!
